Hey everyone,
Does anyone know if there is much demand/value in having an original '77 Lowrider? It's still completely stock with only about 27,000 miles on it. There's a dent in the rear fender but other than that it sits in my brother-in-laws garage under a bunch of his junk. I pull it out every couple of months when I'm over there, put fresh gas in it, kick it over and ride it for the weekend. Then I park it...[&o] I'm trying to see if I can talk him into selling it. I think he'll start riding again if he can find a newer bike that he likes. The whole family/work/life thing has him in a major rut.
you should see if it's for sale , there will always be a buyer for a good ole Shovel .
price wise depends on the market in your area
anywhere from 3500 up to 8000. i would tell ya to get it from him rebuild and enjoy the Shovel.
I also had one that some guy's wife made him sell. You know...new car for her, no room in the garage for the bike. I rode it for several years, then upgraded it with an S&S Stroker Kit.
I don't have room in the garage for another project bike...still trying to make room for the wife's Deluxe once we get that this fall. Had to roll the '68 911 outside and cover it while moving other things around. I think I need to have a garage sale...[&:]
