In hot weather 20w50 is pretty thin and shovel has about 0 pressure at idle with it, I wouldn't recommend it if you do a lot of city riding with stoplights. You have to remember it has the consistancy of a 20w but is supposed to protect like a 50w and will thin down when hot, if you do mainly cruising your OK
