OK heres the question - has any of you guys bought one of the new starters listed on ebay - I am looking at one for the shovel - about 100 dollars free shipping - v twin lists one for 170 dollars plus shipping to dealer - had bike for few years now - starter has been dragging lately - could be the cold - 30*- 40* - 50* around here - dont have any idea how old it is - just think its time for a new one - yeah its got a kicker - getting to old for that

There's no real difference but the prices on those starters from what I've seen , used stuff is selling for just a bit less and the condition is ? They do have a return policy so I'd try one .

I bought an Ultima chrome starter...spins the motor 10 times better than the stock one...I have had it for over a year with no issues.
