Please Need some help with '80 Shovel rebuild that sat for 10 years after rebuild

 

I had an 81 FXRS for 15 years. Seemed to me it was a 5.00 x 16 or the 130-90-16

The sturgis was the same as my FXRS except it had a belt for the final drive. Enjoy with the new bike, wish I could find and purchase my old FX....

 

When someone tells you it was rebuilt top to bottom.........Well, it'll probably be a POS. Buy one from someone who says they rode the hell out of it for 10 or 20 years. You'll get the same thing as the guy who tells you it is perfect. You'll spend the same money getting it right. But more than 4G's? Wrong answer, unless it is a survivor that was in the corner under a tarp, and was never ridden. (Bought one of those)
