Hope this is the right section...So I have a 77 FLH that my dad and I built when I was younger. About 10 years ago, he passed away and I inherited the bike. I finally got tired of my Honda Rebel and I think I'm ready to start riding the 77, but I have a problem: I'm only 5' 2" (I can touch flat footed on one side, but tip toes on the other), which makes it VERY hard for me to back the bike up...I pretty much have to get off the bike and pull it back, which is even hard for me. I've looked around and can't seem to really find anything, so I figured I'd ask here.
Does anybody make a lowering kit for the rear of the bike? I've seen the lowering blocks for newer stuff, but can't find anything for mine. Any help is very much so appreciated.
Nice looking bike . You can lower it with shorter 11" shocks , stay away from the adapter kit gizmo's they break and can damage the swing arm . If you go shorter shocks I'm going to strongly suggest you drop both sprocket sizes too or the chain will eat up the inner primary & starter housing . They sell a plastic shoe that fits over it but once you lower it'll wear out fast .

Thanks! So ok, this may sound stupid, but how do I know what size shocks I have? I know they're after market...I remember my dad and I swapping them when I was little...

Should be 12" stock just pop the top caps off and measure center to center on the mounts .
This place sells some decent shovel shocks pretty cheap been running them on several bikes for a few years now owners like them .

I recently picked up a '78 FLH that has been lowered 2". I am 6'3", so mine sits a bit low for me. Maybe we can work something out?
Does anyone know what current model fairings will fit my 1977 FLH or where I can get one with audio ?
I've got a 1980 FLT that the previous owner took the shark fairing off and replaced it with an early 90's Evo FLH fairing. Looks like it came from the factory with it.
