Obviously something is drawing power,,bad ground somewhere? Is your regulator hooked up proper? Main Breaker, thats the one attached to the pos battery terminal.

i'll check the grounds berndogg but what i cant figure out is why starter rolls over fine when hooked to 20 amp booster charger and the folks at the Harley shop said battery was ok . i'm thinking they sold me a dud and dont want it back but i'm not too thrilled about spending another 150.00 for another battery when this one is not even a week old .

take the battery to any automotive shop and have it tested -- if bad get it in writing and take the battery back-- or do as above and take the WHOLE bike and have them load test it.. when running lights on volt meter on it should say over 12 volts like 13.5 if not its in the charging system.. i think your right. they dont wanna fess up to a dud battery they sold ya..
