1979 fxe 80" L3S CAM 8:1 CR -- S&S super E

never did this last year -- when it get cold like now where its 43 out its super hard to start -- i thought it was because cold weather made the push rods tighter so i re-adjusted loose .. it sounds like it has dropped a cylinder mis fires. after a few tries it finally fires up-- im thinking the crane ignition or the coil.. any ideas?? after its running it runs like a bat out of hell and always starts --

the idle jet had a tiny piece of trash in it.. cleaned the bowl and other items -- replace the idle jet with the same #33 FIRED right up and its 43 out..

 

Don't yah love it when stuff falls together without a headache ? Kudos partner .

 

bad enough sons truck has a blown head gasket -- finished 1 guys bike -- got another headace bike to work on now-- still trying to finish the 96 corvette with the 550 hp package and the weather is a MF'er - f*cken ecklers corvette has the fuel float on back order since 11/2012 -- stage 4 tranny from finish line tranny is FINALLY done -- 3200 stall yank converter -- its the custom tig welding the S/S in 40 degree weather -- i cant even fix the starter problem in the ole ladies SVU she has to touch a rigged wire to the battery to start for now-- live with it biatch.. neighbors all come over and want their gas lawn stuff winterized -- ya got broken hands people?? and a 16 yr old cat who a diabetic and has to get shots 2 times a day,pain meds,and 3 other pills -- f*******uck im gonna run away

 

I've always said that sometimes you gotta step back, have a brew, shoot the cat and rethink it.........

 

step back-- "RECHECK" cant shoot the cat hes 17 yrs old and a diabetic-- ya ever give a cat shots 2 times a day?? lol and no beer for me. i have a friend in germany whos send me one of my favs
