Default Crossover dual mods

I recently picked up a set of crossover dual exhaust for my 75 FLH and want to modify the rear head pipe. The reason is that I want to keep the kicker. Can I cut and block the rear pipe to clear the kick start and let the exhaust go out the left without hurting anything?

Thanks,
Oldsarge

Just last week I installed a new set of Paughco 735-1 dual crossover pipes, and also added a kicker to my 1976 FLH. All fit and work together no problem.

stock exhaust has issues with the kicker - BUT as luck would have it i have done the same thing more than once for customers - a little bend hear and tweak their sort of thing // the shield is what i make look the part and fudge the exhaust pipe

I kinda felt that it could be made to work and look decent. I had thought about cutting a section out and plugging the ends then put the heat shield on to where the kicker would work. I think I'll try the bend/tweak method first. Next I'm gonna be on the lookout for a set of slim mufflers. I need more ground clearance.

Your scoot looks great. I like the way the pipes clear everything. I was trying to go duals without breaking the bank. The Paughco pipes look great but are out of reach for me.

I ordered a set on Amazon but the vendor could not supply the item. Ended up ordering from another vendor but paying more.
