Default shotgun compressor

after my install of the shocks everything worked fine . then yesterday i wanted to show it to my friend and nothing happend . the bike is slammed atm and won't rise anymore . i don't here the compressor switching on so i started to measure my wiring . when i disconnect the compressor and measure at the connection i get 12.65v when i use my switch . i also hear the relay clicking.
can this be a bad compressor ? is there a way to test the compressor without using the wiring on the bike ?
can i raise the bike manualy ?

damn was really looking forward to test the bike today :s

Hey James, it could be a number of things. Give JD a call. He is excellent when it comes down to customer service. Believe me, he will tell you what is going on with the shotgun.

I agree, it's a bummer because the shotgun shock is my favorite mod and I have many. The only thing better then the shotgun shock itself is JD's customer service. If he can't answer your question or fix it over the phone he will put a new one in the mail for you that very day. You didn't just buy the best air ride system on the market, you bought the best customer service from any dealer anywhere too. Have faith because when you get the kinks worked out you are going to have the best ride out there and tons of fun. This I promise and I am sure all other shotgun shock riders out there will agree with me. I have yet to hear 1 single person who bought it, installed it and uses it that has one bad word to say about it.

i got it working now
i really was sure there was a problem with the compressor so i tried to turn it on not connected to the bike . sometimes it worked sometimes i didn't .
i send a email to JD but didn't got an answer yet (i forgot it was sunday today )

so impatient as i am i took the compressor apart and saw there was a bad soldering on the black kabel . i fixed that , put everything on the bike and now it's working .
been doing a testride for about 25km and it ride smooth . my only problem now is that i don't know wich switch is for what . i mounted them in the dash and don't know wich one is wich gonna look at that tommorow.

You will figure it out Dude and when you do is when the real fun starts. The way I hooked mine up, on the horn, front switch is for rebound and the rear is for the ride height, unless I have been doing it wrong all this time too!!!! Also, it's a new bike every time you get on it and adjust it. Just use caution until you truly get comfortable with it. I taught my son this and I only say that for new riders and I am not saying you are a new rider either. Just watching out for Brothers of the road. I usually slam it out on the highways or long straight country roads, pump it up a bit when I get into town or out on roads with many curves. I adjust it accordingly when I put a woman on back too. Have fun and be safe Dude. Lets us know in a week or two just how much you love it too.

Watch that relay too. When I installed mine it got pinched when I lowered the shocks all the way down and the system quit working. Called jd and its a std auto relay

The switch that turns the compressor on and raises the bike is your rebound.
The switch that turns compressor on and lowers it is the ride height

I was also told/warned not to cut the air lines to short. You want extra for when you drop the front of the shock to change tranny fluid.
