Just saw where the "Sturgis5" discount code has been extended for 48hrs at Eastern Performance.
We were extending that discount for the members that had commented on the thread "Discount from East performance". But we will do the same for any members calling in and mention this thread. Thank you all who have mentioned and recommended us on this forum!
Check Eastern performance I think they are 199.95 shipped
I am one of the type that prefers to keep my money local, even if it does cost a few more bux. I like supporting local business that I like. I have friends that work there and would hate to see them fall into the **** soup (being unemployed) this country has made.
All though thanks for the heads up.
Looks good. Now you need the passing lamps. I believe DFS has a good deal on the whole set.
They do, $369 for the whole set I believe. I think I'll stick with the factory passing lights as they have increased side visibility for daytime riding.
I am amazed how bright that tiny led bulb is...wish they made a bulb for my F150, the only vehicle I have with halogens left.
Aren't these LED's also easier on the stator? The stock headlight with passing lights is pulling some amps. Great point about leaving the stock passing lamps for daytime visibility.

Yes indeed, the LED's use a lot less amps...seems somewhere in this thread somebody posted it, so that helps my Evo's small alternator.
I'm so happy about the add'l light at night, I had forgotten how bad sealed beams are. I sold my 71 442 three years ago and all my cars have HID now except my truck which is rarely driven at night.
