Just an observation here but it seems like some are missing the purpose of what the product does.

It is not the same as you guys that have put flashers inline with your brake lights. For those to work you have to actually apply the brake. This product sense that the bike is slowing and automatically flashes the brake light without touching the brakes. I also use compression braking/ down shifting when coming to a stop and the product sounds interesting. I have a couple of questions.

1. Can your product be used with other flashers? On the video it looks like they flash when slowing down but stop flashing once the brake is applied.

2. Is the flashing adjustable to different patterns. I think it would be cool to flash out in morse code (get off my ***)

I'm interested in a plug and play unit for sure. Will it also flash the brake lights with normal brake usage, or only when it senses deceleration? For example, when stopped at a light, I keep a very close eye on what's coming up behind me. If I feel the need, I can pump my brakes which causes my brake lights to flash (I have a Kisan module to flash the brake lights). Will it take the place of the Kisan module, or work with it? I'd like to have the ability to flash the brake lights for compression braking, but I don't know if I'd like to lose the ability to flash them when stopped.

Thanks,

David

I Have this as well. It's called:

Custom DynamicsŽ Gen2 Ultimate Magic Strobes Brake Light Flasher

http://www.customdynamics.com/motorc...ht_flasher.htm

It works great. 10 programs, total plug n play, no battery or ground to run. Plugs in behind the fusebox in between the taillight harness. I like most use very little brake initially. When I'm going to slow I back off and tap the brake. Mine flashes 4 times. If I hold the brake it flashes 3 times and then goes solid. This is only one of 10 options easily set with a rotary ****. $50.

I have the BAL on mine. Have to say it was worth the cash. I seem to get less tailgaters with it. The flash definitely gets attention.

Kutter HD has em' for less then the BAL site does. Get the tamper resistant screws while you're at it. Damn thing is to expensive to lose.

Have had them on my bikes for so long I can't remember when I got the first one. There are multiple options to choose from. Given that, just pick one and know that you're safer than before.

It's pretty sad that more than half of these posts were written with absolutely no idea of what the thread is actually about.

I like the idea of this gizmo and am curious about how it works. Does it have to be mounted a certain way? What about bumping or jarring the unit while going down the road... does the light react?
