I use a TailBlazer, anything to make cages stay back and not tailgate is a positive in my book!

....now that he's a member here, I must say I have absolutely NO affiliation whatsoever.

Never met, spoke with, emailed with or any other form of communication with them.

I do, however, welcome them, and would like to be the first to suggest a sponsorship.

I prefer to give my business to those that support my free forum habit.. somebody's got to keep the lights on.

alternatively...I put rear lights on my saddlebags with mercury switches...by getting the angle of the switches just right....the lights come on when the bike slows.
( the mercury moves forward and closes the connection)...this is pretty easy to do for a rider with a basic knowledge of electricity

But the BAL work awesome and I picked one up used. ( and has much brighter than stock tail and brake lights)

since the "smart" thing to do is to cover the brake lever with your hand or foot whenever riding, it is easy to trigger the brake light.

I can see how the gearbrake or a similar unit would be handy- and for this market even better if just plug and play.
since the vendor is now active on this thread, maybe he'll get some knowledge of our needs.

Hey Chris, Welcome to the gang.

We all like niche products that make our rides better and safer.

As touched on above, most H-D riders desire a plug and play device. The single brake light bikes and pretty easy, but the FLHX and similar models which use 2 tailights for run/brake/turn might be a little fiddly for you to incorporate into factory wiring

Having been rear ended ( on my BMW) I watch my mirrors like a hawk...now.

Welcome and stay active

I'm interested when you get the plug and play figured out.

I run a Kuryakyn RTB module on my RK + Sporty. I like the idea of having three tailites instead of just one + the fact that it flashes when the brakes are applied. BUT, don't care much for the concept of flashing lites during deceleration. I guess if you're a solo rider might be good. But I'm a road captain + I can just imagine takin a large group of bikes thru some twisties with everyone's tailites flashing throughout. That would make me absolutely crazy! Drives me nuts when someone in front of me hits the brakes in corners. If everyone's lites were flashin you wouldn't have any idea what was goin on + probably ignore a legitimate lite. JMHO

I am running the Knight Riderz comes in two sizes 12 & 21 led. Plug n play to tour pak.
Flashes 3 to 4 times when brakes are engaged then stays on. It will definitely get the attention of anyone behind you. The only thing I am not sure if I like or not is that it runs back n forth when brake is not engaged. Bought from Custom Dynamics. I thought I would give you another option. Ride safe.
