lol, man that guy.

the correct RH slider should be arriving today. thanks again for the catch. the dealer ebay guy didn't believe me and thought i was trying to pull a fast one. once he got them back he immediately refunded payment. hd messed up there. but i would have been screwed anyway because of the axle size issue even if they were right. good man

motorcycle, tools, and random youtube albums.... seriously, if you don't do your own work, you are missing out on some serious relaxation therapy. never listened to a fleetwood mac album a day in my life until today... you old heads had it good.

fleebay

------------------------

finished

googled intructions

swapped out old battery
amazon:
Amazon.com: Energizer NH22BP ACCU 9-Volt Rechargeable Battery: Health & Personal Care Amazon.com: Energizer NH22BP ACCU 9-Volt Rechargeable Battery: Health & Personal Care

the siren goes under the bike!?

after 45minutes of fighting the siren was in

installed new tssm and antenna.

got pissed and stop stopped taking pictures. i will marry the tssm to the ECM later. fk this bike for right now

update 1:
turned on a christmas tree. WTF?:
looks like solution is here:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...m-trouble.html

update 2:
set pin using this- https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ml#post8508455
activated using this- http://www.harley-performance.com/password-learn.html

----according to the local dealer... this isn't possible with a used tssm, lol. gtfoh. i asked them to install and program fobs and they said it can't be done and the tssm was paired to the old bike and i would need to buy a new one. in retrospect i'm glad they didn't do the install... it would have been expensive. it took me 3 hours. would have probably taken them 2 hours @$90.... 180... no

what? "can't"? i hate "can't", usually a wrong answer.... and it was...

after all of the above, i took the bike back to the dealer to have the fobs paired to the tssm. they did it free. party!

little victories..

I didn't forget you. I'll do it tomorrow. I rinsed/degreased it all off and sat it outside the garage. Had to clear the air of the fumes. Was tired of being Bane in there.
