Pre 2014 iirc, In the touring hardbags, the latch is on the outside.. The police bags have pop-ups instead of that other crappy floppy system.. I didn't invent the term latch delete
Soo, there is an empty recess where that outside latch would live..
There are tons of badges, plates and the like to fill that void .. Usually reflectors... None of the usual suspects have what i call for..
BTW, they do make the pre 14 latches with led. And no they won't work here

Idk how else to say it acuz that's what it's called plus the description is also exactly the same..
You know what a police bag is? You know what a latch is? You know what the reflectors are?
So ok I'm a smart *** but what's the problem here...
Hard read? lomfl

So your asking for help with something and when asked for pictures of what you're up against, because some of us don't have bags like yours. Instead of ponying up the pictures, you expect others to go out and google the **** themselves....NICE!

Would be kinda nice to "visualize" what your "Blank spot" looks like. Is it on the pop-up, the delete plate, somewhere between, on the top, on the side? There are legit reasons someone wants to see a picture of your bag, even if you don't have the comprehension yourself of why they'd need to.

Good luck getting your help.

So I have a blank spot. There are many filler plates. Usually they are just red reflectors
You have pop-up on top with latch delete? so I am thinking pop-up camper? red reflectors? where? side bottom? hmm pictures might help.

This is what i want :: instead of reflectors, use led filler panels. It has hidden push momentary on/off switch .. Push anywhere for the action. The whole thing would light up..
again pictures might help, I am thinking now you want a giant led that covers the whole lid and you push anywhere on it to light up. How about a clapper?
Maybe held on with velcro or a perma install with someway to change batteries 2032,, idk.. I'm not smart ..
WTF is a perma install? semi permanent?
Point is you came on and asked engineers to help you. Engineers are not people that deal in vague notions. Then when people point out how confusing your post is, you act like an ***. Sorry, I am not interested in helping someone like you at all.

there are creative, smart people that don't have bags, it's kind of a shame you want to limit to only ones who have bags. I apologize if it is difficult for you to take a picture and post it, and you are embarrassed to say you can't figure that out.

You did solicit from parties (with or without hardbags), by not specifying that you were looking for help only from those with touring bikes w/bags.

I'll also point out before I leave you to your quest, if you look at the avatar of the first person to not only respond to help you, was the person to ask for pictures...He has HARDBAGS on his touring bike!!!

Good day.
