ISSUE

Member Lama is in the process of modding his 2007 FXDC into a club style or thug style bike (known today as outlaw bikes) Asks members to provide inspiration and post pictures of their own bikes. Members show off their bikes.

Exhaust is now black. Looks better than the rusty pipe it was before. Gotta touch up a few spots when the paint fully cures. Did the heat cycles already.







Very happy with how it came out so far

Thanks, used VHT header paint from AutoZone. Sanded the crap out of the chrome, hit it with a good primer coat, then one can of black for the whole pipe. Got a couple spots that got chipped during installation. I'll need to touch it up when the paint cures fully.

Question for you guys.. Picked up a thunder header from craigslist that needs the coating to be addressed. Ceramic coating seems pretty reasonable at about $150 here locally. Is it worth it? Or paint it like ^^ ?? I plan to run it for a long time

Ceramic if you're gonna keep it for more than a week or two. I need to have mine done too. Theres high temp powder also if you want a glossy finish

$5 can of paint, done in a day and the joy of saying you did it yourself.
