My brake light switch went bad for the front brakes . Later my master cylinder went out. According to my dealer the cause of the master cylinder going out was the front brake light switch going bad. I'm not a mechanic but that still doesn't seem right ....
Had bars swapped out and afterwards had connection issues with one of the wiring harnesses that resulted in it not firing up. Took it back to Harley and asked that they get it fired up so I could get on my way to Daytona. Well, on the way back from Florida, the harness pulled apart, again, and I lost some electrical functions for the last 80 miles. Called the dealer the next morning, and the service guys exact words were, "You only asked us to get it started, you didn't say you wanted it fixed."
Heres a few of mine...
* Are you really here to buy a bike, its a Saturday and I must maximize my time (I came in a suit and tie from an event)
* At trade in time... Your bike looks to be behind on maintainance or it wasn't done right... Um, you did the 5k service 15 minutes before, I just picked her up..
* Your bike is loud (told to me by the sales douche).. I had Screamin Eagle slip ons only..
* Me - I want this bike, just match the other dealers offer.. Them - we'll give you a tshirt
Me-walking back through the show room from the parts counter-
sales guy- comes up-nice guy always says hello. Asks whats up?
Me- I mention I'm getting ready to adapt an FL front end to my wifes sportster.
sales guy-Why would you want to do that?
Me-I just got done doing it to my street bob and just like those type of front ends
sales guy- looks puzzled-why don't you just buy a slim?
Me- See ya next time.
Went to buy an 03 ultra, price was $9500, offered 3500 down. "That's not enough, you need to put 3650 down?"
WTF, ok...I'll bite, what's it gonna cost?
"$327/month"
ok, not a problem....
"for 60 months"
I was so dumbfounded I couldn't even add it up right, told the guy I can get brand new for that kinda money and continued my search. Got me an 07 for 12g (with a 5yr HD warranty), super happy now.

Sorry to go off topic, but what risers are you using for those slim bars? I put the same bars on my heritage but need to move them back a bit.
Sweet looking bike by the way, I love the classic look.
