right now i ride with a pair of ray bans someone dropped in the lady's store. no one claimed them so $0. I used to ride with a pair of glasses i got from a gas station that had a removable foam insert. They were around $20. they worked well. had a bit of that "oakley" vibe though. "cool" is subjective.
"function well and cool factor" are subjective.....
I ride with a pair of safety glasses ....Mini Ztek
Less than $2.50 a pair when buying a box of 12........
I wear spectacles, so my sunglasses have prescription lenses. Style etc are down to what my preferred optician has in stock, which makes selection so much easier than worrying about brand! Of course your local friendly dealer has a range to choose from.
Way back a local optician sold branded Harley-Davidson frames, so I had a pair of them for a while, but the shop has gone and I haven't seen the frames since. So for several years I had style, H-D sunglasses (chromatic) and spectacles all in one! Cool.....
Make sure they fit you and you like them....I like Ray Ban Daddy-O's. I have long lashes and so many brands I try on, the lashes hit the lens.
Wiley X seems to be a very popular choice.
