thanks for the info.. i just dont like the look of the patriot. and the Two borhters has too many terrible reviews. the only pipe i like the look of other then the two broths is the competition. since i currently used sik pipes diesels which i liked, and my kinetic 540 laterals were a big disappointment on quality. i decied i would look for a 2-1 for "better Performance then the sik and 540 drags. i did order stainless competition. so it i can keep my current 81 hp, or gain i will be very happy.
Get ready to have a permanent red mark on your leg. I don't know of anyone who makes heat shields for them. Down the road when mine start looking rough I may wrap them but until then I will suffer.
Could wrap my leg with something before rides. It's burnt my leg enough now though it doesn't bother me as much lol.

What dou you think about the new 2-into-1 Upsweep? V & H says it improved cornering clearance.
is saw that but i though it looks to long for me. i also considered the magna flow 2-1 they looks like they have good clearance. also the sawicki exhuast look awsome, but there currently are not making them for sportster.

Have you checked out the D&D Bobcat? It looks like it has decent clearance and seems to be a decent performer. I've only heard video sound clips but from what I can tell they sound nice as well.
Only in your dreams. Does anyone spend a lot of time at 7200rpms? If you want a bike with a lot of HP there are quite a few out there. However, none of them say HD on the tank. Lots of money spent (wasted) chasing HP on HD's. Enjoy it for what it is.
so a 883 pulled 94hp with the V&h and 1-6 with the defender? im assuming a 1250 kit and cams?
Yes and head work as well. And you bring up a great point. Cams with more overlap give the exhaust system more influence over the intake flow - that's what overlap does, it connects the exhaust to the intake. So adding overlap to the cams amplifies the effect of the exhaust. I would not expect to see such a dramatic difference in the results on a motor with stock cams and their modest overlap. I still think you'll see a difference, just not as much.

ya I just dont like the look, to long....i guess, im being super picky but i likes what i likes.... the two brothers on dynas has awesome clearance, but for some reason on the sportster they have the bend right by the foot peg that scrapes.. i so went with the V&H.. I have passenger pegs, and forward controls. with my sik pipes they would pick into the ground since they are vertical. and its a hard jolt, id rather rub then dig into the ground and low side.
