Here is my Kury. You can see where I crudely dremeled out the notch for the control cable.
I did a pretty poor job of it so there are several marks there shouldn't be. I also failed to treat it to prevent rust....oops. Next time I'll get it right. Other than that it fits perfectly and does its job. It also funnels more air to the motor.
I think it looks fine, thanks for sharing the pic!
Those fangs and Kury ashtray made a world of difference on my RK. I AM getting quite a pile of shields tho! Right now I'm running with the HD 18" I cut the original 1" at a time and ran for a while with a 17" which was great for my line of sight but just an inch too far for buffeting.
I picked up the LRS 18" and 16" when they had the winter sale $70 and free shipping. The 16 was too short and I liked the 18 well enough but by then my GF had bought me the 18" HD so that's what I'm running ;-)
This is my setup for the summer, no windshield, no lowers, no fangs, no ashtray. Rode an hour and a half to get some tacos and back, @70 mph. All kinds of buffeting and bugs, love it in the summer. Could use some earplugs though. LOL

I think I am just becoming a wimp! I use to ride that way, but just not into it anymore
We all wonder that King! Right after high school I rode my Honda Hawk 400 from NY to Fla to visit a friend down there at College. No shield, no proper Touring gear, no rain gear, just my Levis, Timberlands, a good enough jacket, and a bag strapped to the seat.
How My 18 or 19 year old body did that - my 58 year old beat up body can't imagine today!
