These were the LeatherPros FXDXT Retro T-Sport bags I had on my '14 FXDC Super Glide Custom. I loved 'em, couldn't believe how much stuff I could put in them, (WAY more than in the hard bags on a Touring bike), and got compliments on them wherever I went.
I only have experience with Leather Pros FXDXT repro bags, but I can say these have superior workmanship and quality. On and off in about 15 seconds... Hold a ton of $h!t too.
what the difference between the leather pro and the connely
The Conelys look real nice inside, with basically all velcro inside for attaching "inserts". The zippers, and material look high quality as well. Downside, to me that is, is the large "Conelys" stitched logo on the outsides, and the mounting brackets that are left on the bike when the bags are removed are an eyesore. If you read up on Conelys customer service from other forum members, you will a lot of negative feedback. Personally, I never had dealings with them, but the stuff I heard was enough for me not to chance it. Stand all that next to the high praise I read about not only about the LP bags themselves, but the Owner, Garry is known to be a stand up guy.... And the prices are more reasonable as well.
