I'd like to install an oil temperature gauge in the area behind the headlight. Maybe a USB charger port beside it. I'll get around to it eventually. If anybody has an idea on the oil temp gauge, I'd like to hear it.

What I would really like to do is put turn signal indicators and a series of LED shift lights in there. I'm new to HD so I'm not great at judging rpm by ear yet, slammed the rev limiter pretty hard a few times! I rode sport bikes before these and the cluster was always visible with a quick glance (and they rev to 14K!). On this bike I find myself tilting my entire head down to look at the tach to see RPM or if i left my turn signals on when changing lanes! I hate taking my eyes off the road for that length of time. Has anyone worked on anything like this yet?
I saw on big bear choppers Instagram page that they are making a kit to move your stock gauges up on the handle bars. I didn't read into it to much but they have pics of a new LR-S they are building.

Very happy with the bike and looking forward to staying active on this thread. I haven't read through all 130+ pages, but what's the consensus on the best 2 into 1 exhaust for hp/tq increase (stock 110 spec)? An exhaust will be my first upgrade...but not till after break in period.
I've always been happy with the thunder header but I'm not sure if they are the best for the 110. I hear good things about the bassani 2-1. I was thinking about going bassani depending on what I hear research wise.

All the things I've done so far have really helped with the temps.

Im also in Phoenix, an oil cooler is going to be my first mod for sure. Are you running the side mount or low mount jagg cooler? Any issues getting it to work on a FXDLS?

The kit came with connectors. But I did the solder wire thing, my first time. The lighted plate comes with really, really long wires. The only issue I had was that the stock license plate wiring from Harley did NOT have different color wires - both were black. I eventually figured out which one was power and which one was ground.

I'm on a couple thousand mile sturgis/Rocky Mountain trip with my FXDLS this week. Absolutely love this bike.

MORE PHOTOS DAMMIT!!!!

I'm giving serious thought to a metallic dark silver PC of the stock wheels, though it would require a change of the tank emblem to silver I think... I saw a previous post of a dealer that had a premium metallic gold PC job with a clear and it looked much better. I think a darker silver version of that would look great.

Default New member/low rider S in future

I have been watching the thread grow and now I'm about to get my ride. 2016.5 Harley low rider S. I have a deal working for 1700.00 out the door tax title fees everything. Is this a good deal considering it's still a new year release. Also because next year they are gonna bump most if not all up to the 110 anyway. Let me know what you think and thank you for your time. p.s. I love the bike it's what I want and I have had plenty of bikes but v twins always feel mor alive.

For this price, I'd buy 50.
