thanks for the headsup! well.. in the last 30 minutes of creeping on this forum, i decided i may delay the 14" tbar install for now. i was quoted about 300 for extended clutch/brake/turn sig's and i may just hold off and wait. especially after i saw your post way back on page 63 using the 3" riser extensions. I checked them out on dk's site and hell, for 30 bucks and a baby due next month, that may be a good comprimise. those Tsport bags look great on your bike btw!
i was also going to ask about relocating the turn signals to the forks. they have a kit (i forget where) with fork clamps.
thanks for the quick response btw!
Sig relocation is way easier then other canbus dynas, as the LRS uses a home run cable to a connector on the harness in the spine. Other models you have to cut and cap the cable attached to the handlebar switch and run new wires. Just disconnect the sig, pull the cable through the bar - you may also want to depin the connector as once its in the bar, it may be a PITA if it gets stuck or is wrapped around the fat TBW cable...
I like those screaming eagle spark plug wires, they look awesome. Are these the 10mm ones? Did you notice any difference after installing these wires?
What do you guys think is the best looking derby cover for the LRS?
There is no difference in performance, I just bought them for looks. The stock 8mm wire loom will no longer fit so I bought an aluminum 2 wire loom from Amazon.
As a note, I just went on a ride and measured the temp on the oil cooler lines outbound the adapter and the return. There is a 30 degree difference, even after idling in place for a few minutes. Definitely worth the investment.
I saw the new Low Rider-S at the dealer last Saturday and it stood out among the crowd of gaudy clones on the showroom floor. It appealed to me so much so I went back on Sunday to take a test ride. It handled superb - excellent acceleration and cornering. I am use to riding a CrossBones which has floor boards, so the Low Rider-S foot pegs took some adjustment for me, but it wasn't a big deal as I grew up riding bikes with pegs. It's an awesome looking and running bike. It'd be real hard for me to justify buying another cycle at this time - but I just had to ride the Low Rider when I saw it. Not many HD models speak to me like it did anymore.

Then I will eagerly wait for your thoughts - and install post!
One question I have is; do we have enough stator to handle the fans on this oil cooler, and the Wards fans? I need get the current draw from both sets, and make sure

I have never been into HD and this is the first one I seen that checked all the right boxes for what I would want in a cruiser. It is easy to hand over a check when you feel the bike calling out to your soul.

Finally starting to get the bike where I want it. Still waiting on West Coast Tbars and SPF exhaust to come in...and lay down plate.

I'm about to install the alloy art strut lights on mine too - are they working with the leather pros spacers without problems our did you need to adjust something to hit the same level between the docking hardware?
