I see you have the screamin eagler ventilator air cleaner, do you hit your knee on it? Was looking at replacing the heavy breather which hits me just below the knee (with forward controls) with one of them.

It's pretty slim. Definitly more tucked in then the football. I don't get any knee contact, but I'm using the further forward mids.
I ditched the RoadDawgs windshield for the stock HD 1/4.
I like the stock LR-S fairing better than them both, or go naked altogether as far as buffeting is concerned. I would rather take it in full, than have my head rocked non-stop. Around town though, the 1/4 looks bitchin'
I'm considering this mod. Was it an easy install? How long did it take?
How do u like em. Was it worth the cost and effort?
TIA/b
I installed the 3" risers on mine. Removing the fairing took longer then the install. A second set of hands will make it easier (to hold the bars as you unbolt, but I did it solo). Two bolts off, pop out the rubber bushings and replace with poly (not necessary but always a good idea with higher bars) position extensions and two new bolts in. Torque and done.

Easy. Did it myself
Put some towels over the front mudguard and the tank
take off the screen (two screws)
removed the headlight - one bolt - bottom screen mount comes off
top screen mount is two small screws under the top triple clamp
undo the risers (two bolts)
slide the riser extensions on
bolt it up
just need to make sure you tighten everything up so that the bars are in line.
I find the extra height much more comfortable and I like the look
For me the cost was high. Freight was US$70 to Aus. I couldn't find anything here but wasn't happy with the stock setup. I still think it was worth it.

Anyone try putting a GPR stabilizer on their Low S yet? I guess the upper triple tree is different from the street bob. I have the (hopefully) correct replacement part coming my way.
