tracked down the page where this photo was posted amd it listed the fork nuts has gen harley HD46129-98B even tho not listed for breakout they apparently fit
the trim ring is HD69735-05
I remember looking at these when I put mine together. I believe the fork stem bolt is a bit lower profile on the Breakout and the set screw doesn’t have enough to grab hold of.
i tried to make some out of car motor freeze out plugs but couldnt find any just the right size..i may machine some at work one of these days if i do i will let yall know
LOL, I haven't been on here in awhile and was just lurking around and saw your post, I knew that was my pic because of those custom riser nut covers. These nut covers were from Hammer Custom Cycles and were called Impalers, I bought them originally for my '04 Heritage for the front axle nuts and when I unloaded that bike I held onto the Impalers because they were unique. The only place they fit on the BO was on those riser nuts and as ugly and as noticeable as they were I think it really added to the image that the risers were driven through the top tree. And trust me, the name fit the product because these things would slice you open in a split second. I don't think he's in business anymore, as the website no longer exists but he has a Facebook page that hasn't had any attention recently, either. Wouldn't hurt to try to reach him, he has his email public.
As far as the gap at the bottom of the trim ring, yes it's there and no matter how hard you try it won't form a completely clean seal, but with all of the other stuff going on it's really one of the last places a person's eye falls.
thanks ill give him a try and if not search for axel nut covers as fot the lamp ,shitty job by HD imo still i lke the visor sets off the front end ..bullet lamps dont suit breakouts kills the rake

I agree w you on the bullet headlamp, I was giving that change some thought too but like you decided to just go w the visor ring.
Good luck w your search, I hope you get in contact w him on those Impalers. If you do, let us know and post back! I had his impaler grips too, to match and busted open the skin on my arms a few times. I haven't seen anything like his stuff in the spike family that even comes close to what he was putting out as far as quality and just plain ***** of a true "spike"...nothing not LA Chops, not Kury, nothing. Here's a few images of his **** on my Heritage, I miss this beast.
