Rode up to the Loess Hills Scenic Overlook this afternoon. Beautiful day, and great burgers at the Pisgah Cafe.
That Electra Glide will do a lot for you, but she isn't much for gravel roads and lose dirt. None the less, the view was worth all the slipping and skidding around.
I believe the Pisgah Cafe is the Old Home fill er up and keep on trucking cafe of CJ McCall (convoy) fame. For those of you that think Nebraska and Iowa are flat and boring, you need to check out the Loess Hills and a few random highways in Nebraska, smiles are there you just need to know where to look.

That's the place.
Excellent burgers. And it was kind of cool watching all the twinkie guys ooohing and ahing over the Evo!
Had some of my best riding in a long time today going nowhere in particular. Finally had great riding weather. I got a late start due to having to go pick up my car from the mechanic shop since it got fixed sooner than I anticipated. Then I realized the inspection sticker on my bike had been expired for two years so I got that taken care of. Everywhere I stopped today people were friendly. Overall a very good day and I will ride some more tonight.
For the record, I did not have to sit there in bewilderment for five or ten minutes trying to figure out how to start my bike, unlike my recent 2017 Street Glide experience lol.
I forgot to mention that today was the first time I rode my bike in a very long time pain free and without pain medication. My massage therapist did a great job yesterday and the ongoing sessions every three to four weeks are helping me immensely. I just made it back home and got a nice warm fuzzy feeling about things. Really loving this bike and the recent new parts and adjustments made it that much better.
