All 3 of my bikes and 1 car are all paid off. I couldn't imagine having to make payments every month on something that loses it's value faster than the remaining balance.
But hey, I'm not making payments on your behalf so do what you want to do because you will do it anyways.
Thanks for the feedback...it's exactly what I needed...just wanted to chew on some opinions you all might have...I did buy the bike I have now used and it wasn't a good rate at the time 10.5% here in Canada over 72 months. I would not trade for 10,000.00 or 12,000.00 Canadian no way. It will depend on the payments per month over 72 months as well of course.
Just curious OP, if you were to sell your bike privately, what would you expect to get for it (keeping in mind the sad state of the used bike market right now)?
I'm shopping for 17 RK right now and all the dealers I've talked to have screaming deals going on 2016 models with the 110" kits as standard bait and most have offered up other $$$ add-ons to sweeten the deal along with the 110. I'd say poke your head in a dealer and see what they swing at you, they are definitely trying hard to move bikes right now. seen mark downs in the 2 to 5 k range average.
I'll make another suggestion , look into a shorter term note not 72 months you may be surprised how little different the payments are on say a 48 or 60.
