[Small hands help. I just reach in and pull out the breaker.]

Maybe your 94 FLSTN main breaker is in different place than my 99 FLSTC. I don't see how one could just reach in and pull out the breaker. Its on the front right side of the rear fender extension. , 2 wires on it with nuts.
Was trying to find a way to access without removing rear tire.
Think I'll just splice new regulator wire into old one.

Just stick a screwdriver in there and get underneath the breaker, and pop it out of the clip that is holding it. Once out of the clip you can pull it toward you and disconnect the wires, take 5 minutes and do it right. Be sure the battery is disconnected first.

You know I'm almost tempted to go out to the bike and give that a try!!!

Personally I think it's easy to pull the rear tire and splash guard which gives me a lot of room for my fumble fingers to work which is always a plus for me.

Just replaced mine and found the issue on the lead to the breaker. Good luck reaching yours.

What do you use to get the breaker back into the bracket after you are done?
I'm guessing long needle nose pliers.

Hoorah. Got it, yes, piece of cake.
There was some bling near that access area which I didnt think was blocking it. I also pulled the chrome cover off the starter, gave me another inch. So, all is well. Thank you all, and TexasHill and thank you Dan89FLSTC, great photo from Right side clicked.

Glad you got it.

How did you manage to clip it back into the clip??
Did you have to use needle nose or did you have enough room to do it with your fingers?

Man, that's rain on my parade.

[You can test the stator by unplugging the regulator and with your meter on ac it should register around 30 to 33 vac between the 2 pins at the case @ 2000 rpm. Just make sure your battery is up to charge to keep the bike running while doing the test

So before I plug the new regulator into the stator I should measure AC across the two stator pins. Okay.
