The show did but the club running those bikes were not the stars of the show. The softail/ape thing is also very popular with another club (which that club advised for those bikes). I see both styles represented in the respective clubs. But not one style in the other.

You analogy would be more close to comparing short drag bars to long beach bars, both on risers.
Here we go....

1. What are solid riser bushings?
2. Tall tbar bars and apes are 2 different animals in regards of flex and movement within the bar

Sounds like you have never ridden a proper Tbar set up.

it always is. But never the less. I still respond

Bikes are bikes.

Who has the best bar combo, tire combo, motor combo, suspension combo, paint combo

It's always the same thing over and over.

If you ride a bike set up like this then you will understand the reasons why certain mods are done

Nice to see some "gen 1" bikes back in the thread.
(Narrow Ness fairing, straight bars just above the fairing, plain black.
I know that term is gonna bite me in the ***)
Here's a plain old shot of mine

I think gen1 is appropriate

Thats why I went back. Everyone is going full fairing and such. When I get to a spot I don't see many narrow ness set ups. It's always tsport or Frp/t fairing and lowers. Or a 49mm ness fairing

even though it's older style in this genre. I like it and still think it looks slick
