Hopfeully it doesnt pig into the main harness and require and entire harness swap... then i may just cut and solder in new pieces.

Thanks any and all help is appreciated!
If it's on the frame of the bike it's the main harness and it goes to 4 if not 5 locations.
Fuse panel
ECM
Front interconnect
Rear interconnect
And dependent on year either to injectors/compression release or ABS

The main harness is the same on touring bikes but does sometimes change between years
So if changing harness, identify part number of current harness, look it up on a parts finder and see if it's a single year or a multi year harness.
Changing a harness is about a 3 hour job. It's not difficult.

tracked down thewires and made repair finally..

the 6 wire loom that runs from TGS to the main loom inside the right side of fairing.. where it joins about 40 other wires at the neck/gas tank.

turns out 2 of the 6 wires were bending over the last 3-4 years and eventually internally broke inside the insulation. The insulation looked great, but as I ran my fingers across the wire with a slight bend (after removing electrical tape, and conduit) i could clearly feel a weak spot.

Upon stripping the wires, they were completely seprated inside the insulation. Each stranded wire only has (6) wires stranded together. very very small wires here, and very rigid as well.

repaired and troubleshot... no more codes. now to celan her up and re-assmble wil be back on the road tomorrow.

Thanks everyone in here for the advice! Obviously i opted on NOT REPLACING the entire harness, especially since i already replaced the TGS sensor without needing to. ugh.

Wish I saw this about 5 minutes ago, I sh_t you not, I just ordered a new TGS. I have the same codes on my '13 Road King and changed out the bars too. If its not the TGS or wires from it, I'll be pissed.
Thanks for the info and good luck.

Just an update!

1 month and 3,000 miles later and no more problems. The wire at the neck was definitely the issue. Thanks everyone for helping me hunt down this SOB that has been haunting me for the last 12 months.

This seem to be a pretty common problem and I hope this thread can help others with similar issues!

on the other hand its time for a new tire... dropped off today and getting back tonight!!!

I wanted to chime in here. I can't believe I have finally found a post about this issue. I have been facing a similar issue for 3 months now but on mine my bike will rev randomly either a couple hundred RPMs or as much as 5000 RPMs. I took the bike to a local dealership where they told me they had seen where the pins inside the connector to the TGS on the main harness would separate from the wire. For two hours labor they cut off the connector and put on new terminals and connector on the main harness but the problem still persisted. I too got all the same error codes, replaced the TGS and throttle body to no avail. I will definitely be looking at the wires themselves tonight. I previously gave them a once over but never thought that the individual strands could be broken inside of the insulation.

Here is something that may help some people.
