I just looked at my current BO set up with the blackline dash and cvo raiser and it's tight, I wouldn't be able to raise mine at all.
Thx a lot for checkin'. My bike is stored away for the winter season at the dealer''s. That's why I couldn't check by myself. But your conclusion is what I figured, too. Most likely the tank lift won't work with the Breakout especially with the Blackline dash.

You can get it there but you've got to move the speedo forward in order to clear the tank. I used the short CVO style risers mounted on 10 degree bushings to lean the speedo forward. Thats not the only way to do it but this method does a respectable job of concealing the gap at the front of the tank created by the lift.

Yeah Mark, I remember you installed the angled bushings to move the speedo slightly forward. You can easily compensate the forward position of the handlebar clamp with your apes.

I've installed the Thunderbike flat straight risers with 1.5" spacers and the stock bars. This setup offers no possibility to compensate a more forward position causef by the bushings...and with respect to comfort the current position is as far front as I would want to go.

Another potential issues also stated on the DK website is the handlebar clearance with the tank when steering is fully turned to either side. Not a problem with apes but with the stock bars this may be. This clearance is the reason why I had to use those riser spacers with my flat risers. Without spacers the switch housing would touch the tank on both sides.

What's the amount of your tank lift? Sure looks more than 1.5"....

I'm using the braided style crossover line. Not sure this one has as much slack as the stock rubber line. I guess I'll have to postpone this topic until I get my bike back out of winter storage in March. Maybe I get a chance when stopping by my dealer the next time to do a basic measurement. And after all the DK set is not that much of an investment to not just risk trial and error.

3"

Yep, there are different issues for sure. Apes are a much easier configuration for this type of thing.
