Removing a Deuce Rear Fender

Default Removing a Deuce Rear Fender

I'm not the most mechanically inclined person on this forum so forgive me. Can you remove a rear fender on a Deuce without removing the rear wheel?

If so anyone have any pointers on the easiest way to do it?

Okay, well. When I added a sissy bar on my Slim, I first needed to remove the struts
Looks like you may have covers on yours. So those need to come off first
The fender connected to the struts and underneath by the swing arm
Once those fasteners are removed you'll need to disconnectt itf from the tray that the ECM is attached to
Should snap tight off and yes!
You can do it with v the wheel on if you want? But I personally would rather do it with it off

Hardest part with the wheel on will be getting the splash guard off. A 1/2" wrench can be used to get at the bolts that hold it on, but it's a PITA.
You will also have to unplug and remove the rear turn signals from the struts before the struts will come off.
