Hello guys,
This is my first post here and hope my questions won't be annoying.
I have a 2013 Forty-Eight and I am looking for a tuner. I found out that most people recommended Power Vision but I read about Target Tune on DKcustom website and I am a bit lost. Is it a standalone tuner or is it an add-on and needs PV to operate?
My bike is stage 1 only(V&H Big Radius and SE Heavy Breather).
I would greatly appreciate any explanation/guidance and any suggestions about tuners if you think there are better ones.

From what I hear and read the Powervision is needed with the Target tune. I am going to get a Powervision and run it without the wide band sensors when I do my stage one upgrade due to the cost. I'll add the target tune later when the Hammer Performance upgrades begin. To get both would be about a grand.
I had a ThunderMax ECM on my previous bike and that was a pretty good tuner but I hated that I needed to be hooked up to computer to view data or make changes. That unit alone costs a grand as well. Im going with Powervision so I can view realtime data and make changes without the computer.
I hear that the Vance & Hines FP3 is pretty decent as well and simple but requires a smartphone to operate. Just depends on what u want to spend but I think Powervision would be the way to go even if you get the basic tuner fot now and get the target tune later.

Thanks for the reply man. I also think I will do just like you and get the PV one for now and the Target one later. I think PV is enough for Stage 1. What I love about FP3 is that it has a phone app. Does PV come with a screen you can mount on the handlebars for example? Or just the one you keep inside the bike?
Thanks again !

Pretty sure it mounts on the bars and is sold separately in the link Guzzi posted. Welcome to the Forum from NM by the way!

Thank you! I understand now. Does PV or Target Tune come with a display screen you can mount on the handlebars? Seen some people have it.
The Power Vision can be handlebar mounted if you wish; I tend to only have it on the bike when I'm actually doing auto tuning, most of the time the PV is in its box; as it's a flash tuner it's not necessary to keep it on the bike permanently...

My unit guage feature only has four items to monitor. Wish I could monitor six like yours.
