I ride a Deuce but maybe these will help. I use a Ram Mount with a 6" arm under
the mirror stem on the left bar. The small bungee is to dampen any vibration as well as provide a safety lanyard. As a tip, get the skeleton case and run a USB cable to the GoPro. No worries about battery life.
I use a Techmount control mount kit with the GoPro adapter and GoPro frame. Also, I have a GoPro suction cup along with various adjustable arms. With these mounts and adapters, I can mount my GoPro pretty much anywhere on my bike for various perspectives when riding. I made some tethers out of vinyl coated wire rope.
Hogtag collar. No vibration at all. The only disadvantage I notice is the very low viewing angle makes nearby cars and trucks look very tall. I understand they are working on soe other mounts as well. Looking forward to seeing them.

I use same mount on my 15 FLHTK minus bungee cord which is great idea normally I put my hand on it to calm it down little.
