Ok, I tried to leave the road kings behind, But I couldn't.
So I picked up a 2012 RKC for a song.
And some of you may remember some of my other road kings that I sunk (what I consider to be) a small fortune into.
So my question is this - does anyone have good feedback on some of the aftermarket hardbags (stretched or otherwise) and lower fairing kits found specifically on Ebay?
I realize that you often get what you pay for, but I also have too many miles on my to think that HD is all there is and most other places want more than I want to spend this time around as well.
I just installed the vented style lowers on my 16' street glide and no issues
other than they didn't come with directions that were readable.. so it was a puzzle
to put them together..
I paid $80 shipped but they didn't come with the mounting hardware so I also bought the QD hardware off of ebay for $19.99 shipped and did a

the vivid black is a perfect match and I seen recently that they have color matched available which another member of my site bought and the
ember red sunglow was a perfect match for his bike..
fairing wise I don't think you can go wrong with a USA trailer store model, quite a few on the switchback owners site have bought them and LOVE them
and its the same fairing only ut uses different mounts for the road king https://theusatrailerstore.com/harle...-king-fairing/
Then purchased the Harley magnetic doors, liners and Harley hardware for mounting and for the adjustable vents. After paint to match I saved about $450. Quality is good and the look is pretty cool.
I bought a set of lower fairings by Mutazu on Ebay for my 1340 Electra Glide. Crap. Bad plastic, bad mounting hardware quality and no instructions. I wrote an e-mail to the seller, all I got was a link to a Youtube video that showed another model...
I finally could mount them, but one broke quickly, so I took them away and they went to the trash.
