You're right! No matter how much time you can set aside for a trip, there are just so many great roads to ride in NA.
Captain Itch us a forum member and supporter. He makes what he calls a crotch cooler which many people swear by.
Seats are very subjective and many gave a policy that says you cannot return them once you install it. The Harley Dealer has lots of seats stamped Demo for you to try without having to buy.
If you don't have one, get a quick detach windshield. It makes a big difference on a long trip.
Wife and I have had the crotch cooler on our bikes for several years, and several 2 week trips. The have been one of the best additions to our bikes we have made, both are stage 1, and you can see it in my sig pic.
We also run Mustang seats with backrests, not sure how it will look on you bike, but looks right on our bikes. I have done a SS 1000 with this seat and felt fine after the ride was over.
