Don't know if this has been posted but;

a few years ago, Bell made one like Stringfellow Hawke used in 'Airwolf'.
I think it sold for around $1000.00

I was at HD today and their helmet with the Drop Down Shield.....the lady told me the lining can not be taken out. So u can not clean it.

Riding/living in S. Florida, I sweat in it. REALLY? The insert cannot be washed?

She said to wear a doo rag. I can sweat right thru that easily.

Whichever, whatever I purchase will have a removable lining.

My Bell, Pit Boss, 1/2 helmet has that kind of internal flip down shield. It works OK.

Not true to the Harley Cross Road 1/2 helmet, the liner removes. I have taken it out several times to wash. This is the one with the pull down visor.
