HJC FG JET. I have this helmet with a dark tinted shield. I changed the retractable dark tinted shield to a yellow retractable shield. It works great on very cloudy or rainy days..
Scorpion exo c110 is the helmet that I've got. It's priced comparable to the Bell Pit Boss. It's vented, has a removable liner, removable ear warmers. The flip down visor works great. It is a good helmet with good reviews. Shortly after I made the decision to get this helmet, I found an overstock closeout deal on a pit boss for $50 and ordered one as a gift for a friend that has helped me out numerous times. Bottom line, after trying the gift helmet on, I immediately knew I should've ordered one for myself. Unfortunately for me they were all sold out. I did however end up getting a Bell DLX Drifter helmet on closeout for $40 that has the same ratchet style basket in the helmet. This helmet is now my go to helmet. You do not get the helmet lift from the wind with this style of system. My Scorpion sees very light duty use and typically worn by my wife once or twice a year.
Morning. Didn't HD sell ones like that? I remember looking at them at the stealership. I like that idea as well as was thinking of getting one like that as well.
I have a Harley half helmet with a shield that slides up.
I have the Harley branded half helmet with the pull down shield. The shield pulls down easily even with gloves. The helmet has a visor and is made by HJC. My helmet is matt black it's a 2X. It's in great shape and is light weight and comfortable. It is DOT approved and for sale. I will take $60.00 for it. It is called the Crossroads and is $135.00 when I bought it. Still have the helmet bag.

My wife and I both have the Harley version of the HJC IS-33. It is an external clear face shield that is removable, and a built in sun shield like a military aviation helmet. I leave the clear face shield off 99% of the time and just use the built in tinted one. We got them on sale at the dealership and have bee happy with them.
I purchased the Harley half helmet with the shield inside as you are wanting about three months ago at the Harley Dealer. Had to change the face shield (tinted) for a clear one. Cost a few extra dollars.
