Wife and I are going here next month for a long weekend get away. Staying right down town close to 6th Street. Always wanted to visit there and check it out. I love the music scene; so we're planning on hitting Broken Spoke & Continental club. Gonna take a drive through the hill country as well.
Any must do & must see places?
Towns / stops recommended on hill country drive?
We want to take a look at areas for possible relocation...was recommended to check out the Round Rock & Lake Travis area....any other places?
Thanks in advance!
Luckenbach, Fredericksburg, stonehenge II and easter Island heads in Ingram.
February is probably too early for the bat's at the bat bridge but if it's closer to march you might be able to see some bats at the congress ave bridge.

Take FM 1431 from Round Rock to Marble Falls and go eat at the Bluebonnet Cafe. It's a great road ( i live on it). Ride south to the Canyon Lake area - Wimberly, Dripping Springs (stop by the Salt Lick BBQ!). That'll give you some good scenery around Austin.
Check out Bandera, the Cowboy Capital.
Stop by the Apple Store in Medina
Get up on the 3 Twisted Sisters and stop in Leaky at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop
Willow loop from Fredericksburg
A lot to do and see
