It was considerably less than 38k. But I don't care to disclose because you either
1. Wouldn't believe it
2. Would still find reason to criticise
3. It's no one's #$%& business
Thank you all though for reminding me why I stopped visiting this site. I don't mind the opinions but, more often than not, it's the delivery that bugs me.
Yall ride safe, I'm out.
All that matters is you are happy. Everyone is paying a different number. The forum is a public, somewhat filtered environment. Need to take this stuff with a grain of salt. If you get one or two comments that you find helpful call it a win. Ride safe.
Maybe the dealer brought the price down to where the OP wouldn't be anymore upside down. Regardless, its a cool bike and no doubt he is happy to have it. Ride on.
Is the going rate for a dealer installed Stage 1 $2500? That's a bunch of change. Looking at the photo I am guessing it got a whole new exhaust? Same air cleaner cover as stock? That seems rather high but I have not priced accessories and labor at dealers for about 10 years either.
I don't believe them but they told me, bcuz it was the last day in Jan and they needed/wanted the sale they were willing to take a $750 loss. Regardless I got the $ to where I thought made sense to me and I got the bike I want. Yes $2500 is what they quoted me on the parts for Stg 1 install and I'm not sure but I think that's where they manipulated the numbers? Thanks

When I purchased my 17 RK, they " built in" 3 K for accessories that they claim they "know" your gonna want. The kept calculating my monthly payment using the 19K for the bike, plus 3K. 2 being for clothing and 1 K for mod's to the bike. When you calculate your payment online, it actually has a disclaimer at the bottom stating they add in that amount. Its nuts. My sales guy kept going back to " What monthly payment would you like to be at".. Like I'm leasing a friggin Altima or something. So that and you 3-5 % interest is probably how you got there.
The loan amount always reflects total with interest as was stated earlier. With that info you could figure out what the rate is they are raping you at...

OP is butt-hurt that you all ragged on his financial situation.
And as for '#3' OP, you started the thread.

I have never seen that before. $3,000 in credit built into a loan for sh#t you haven't purchased yet... ridiculous.
I also laugh at the sales guys when they ask where I want my payment to be. The meaning of that statement is so slimy I'm surprised they still use it.
