Does this make sense to anyone?
When I bought my RK I got a bottom dollar price from one dealer and then went to another dealer that had the same bike (plus ABS) and told them that I needed my payment to be at x amount, about $70-80 less than the first dealer. I knew what the bike had to cost at that payment amount. The salesman scrambled for about an hour and a half and worked the numbers down to my target. I ended up with a screaming deal that I'll probably never match again. It cut out all the negotiating and all the back and forth with big numbers.
Unless you are paying cash, there is no point in arguing for $300 off a $20,000 bike because the dealer will find a way to get that back later. Negotiating for a payment amount that you know results in a good deal makes them do all the work.
@J TOURS OP is NOT "butt hurt" LMAO. Just with the number of idiots on here, including yourself, that think you're amateur financial planners and/or amateur psychologist.
I make 6 figures annually, think I'll spend it how I like.
Done with you f'ing idiots.
For those that didn't try to incite or genuinely thought you were providing sound advice, this doesn't include you and I thank you. For those, for who this is intended and I suspect you know who you are, it's all about the delivery.

I own 2 Buells yes. I own a 12 CVO RGC otherwise known as the "fugly" "shark nose" or one of the many other names the batwing guys have dubbed them. Enjoy your new ride. Spend it like it's your last days, can't take it with you!
