Hello all, been awhile since I logged in, but I need some help. I have serious hip issues(getting one replaced in 2 weeks). I know I have read on here about some places that will do custom "reshaping" on my stock seat. (15 Ultra Low). I want to have as much as possible shaved off the sides of my stock seat, as to make it as narrow as possible, while keeping the integrity of the seat as much as possible. The width of the bike is just not working for me with my hips the way they are. Any help is appreciated. Thanks-Scott
I've had two seats done at Mean City Cycles. They did my Dyna when I got forward controls and couldn't quite reach and I took my Street Glide to them shortly after buying it. My legs are just a little too short to flat foot on it and Alan shaved the sides down a little and lowered my about an inch. He does great work and can really help you out.
I'm lucky enough to live close enough to ride up to Maiden, NC to visit, but you can set up an appointment and ship it to them also.
Yep, I sent them a Mustang seat to have a tailbone relief channel modification. Great work! I just sent in my stock street Glide seat to add double memory foam added, the seat pan narrowed and recovered with alligator and ostrich, to include the backrest. $505 for a custom seat ain't
to damn bad!
this is what it will look like after March 6th....
