Default I cant reach my back brake pedal!!!

Ok, im having a hard time reaching my brake lever for my back brakes. in fact, I cant touch them at all. I have a 2006 Night Train with a stage one air cleaner (with the stock cover) and I cant hit my back brakes. I have to pigeon foot to hit it and it will cause me to wreck trying so im not even using them. to be more specific, I need a brake lever, or pad that extends out instead of back. the length on my stretch is fine, I just need a pad or to move the existing brake lever outward more so I can actually use it. do they make extenders or longer pedal pads or do I need to remove it and rig something up? I am a 13 year machinist so im not at all intimidated by a DIY job but I cant seem to find much on this issue and im sure im not the only one to ever have this problem. Again I don't need to extend it forward or back, I need to extend it to the right more (away from the bike) to be able to hit it. thanks in advance

Use a torch, heat it, bend it, paint it black so it doesn't look like it was messed with, done.

I thought of this route, but was curious if there was a quick part under $100 to avoid putting a torch to it, before I torch it, I may remove it and see about making an extender sleeve of some kind to rig it up. thanks for your response. Bending it will lower the point of contact and id be too afraid id accidentally hit the brake with my foot resting on the peg

go to ebay. Search : "fxst brake pedal" good choices. Review posted dimensions and make selection. Add just enough length to fit your foot on without peg interference.
