Default Brake Pedal

I'm looking for a narrower brake pedal. When I put my heel on the floor board('05 E glide classic) and my toe on the aftermarket cruise peg, the brake pedal is sticking into my foot's arch forcing my heel onto the edge of the footboard. I've spaced the floorboard out 1/4" and don't want to go more due to ground clearance in tight turns. Does some one make a narrower brake pedal that doesn't cost a mint? I thought about trimming one but don't want to chance losing the rubber pad's grip on the pedal.

remove the rubber brake pad and cut off the part on the brake arm that holds the pad.
drill a hole for a shifter peg.
have the modified arm rechromed.

I took off the big brake lever pad.... Cut the lever (pedal) in half.. right about where that little indention is... And used a brake pad that fits an FXST... Worked like a charm and took about 20 minutes...

Thanks for all the ideas. I think I'll check out Fishafly's fix.

Thanks fishafly. What did you use to make the cut? I think I'd be there for a week with a hacksaw....
