Default having hard time deciding on luggage...

looking for a good tail bag for a week trip.

the top contender was the Saddlemen BR3400EX but i keep reading that it will not fit over a 14" backrest, i have to measure mine to see if it will fit.

also looking at the T Bags cross country, Kurry Ultra or Grandtour bags and am open to other suggestions.

i do not need a ton of little pockets and pen pouches i just need a nice size bag that i can put clothes and my laptop own and keep everything dry.

I have been running this bag from HD for a few years now, it was on my Road King and is now going on my Road Glide. Good Quality and function.

I have the Kuryakyn Grand Tour. Love it. Fits a ff, and a half helmet. Roll rain gear, 3 pairs jeans, leather, 6 shirts, 6 pair socks, six skivies. Hoodie, tool bag and some food. I mount it on the seat in front of the sissy bar. Doubles as a back rest.

Give you a good deal on tbag
Only used a few times
Expandable, has a rain poncho, you can wear it as a backpack
Very nice
Just don't use it enough, and now I have a TP for OL
It's in the gear section

I've really enjoyed using my HD combo luggage. Both bags can be used individually or together and have rain covers. The large bag is expandable which is nice for extra room when needed.

I can't speak to that specific Tbag but I have used Tbags since 2002 on my Wideglides, currently have a "Lonestar". I have not purchased a bag yet to go on the luggage rack of the RGU but when I do it will most likely be a TBags product.
IMHO their products is top notch as far as quality and materials
