I cannot believe somebody doesn't know answer!!!
There is only one good state in USA, where riding season starts on January 1 (first day of spring) and ends on Dec 31(last day of fall)!!!!!!!
CA is on crack, earthquake every day!

Alaska has legalized pot, and legal carry, but your not going to avoid long winters.

Other that time spent in the Military, I've lived in the Phoenix area most of my life.

It gets hot as hell here, but you don't know that you are sweating because it immediately evaporates due to very low humidity - around 7% mid day in the summer.

That's why hydration is key; before, during and after the ride. You don't ever get completely comfortable with 100+ temperatures, but just like any other weather you do acclimate to some extent.

I ride to work each day at 1:00 pm and ride home around 10:30 pm year 'round without any issues. Between two bikes I have over 250K miles in the past nine years. That's hard to do back east.

What specifically did you not like about California? If it's politics, Hawaii is about the same. I actually thought above moving to Hawaii about 15 years ago, but the amount of liberals and the haole hate took it out of consideration.

I don't see Hawaii being any better. After all, while mostly scenic, you are stuck on an island.
