Default Question on SGS Denim Paint

i recently bought a 2017 SGS with the charcoal denim paint. A couple days in and I notice the tank has what looks like a double line on each side of the tank. I called both the dealer as well as corporate and was told they all have this and is more pronounced with the denim paint. Was turned down for a replacement. Was also told it's the stamping of the tank. I'm hoping that what was informed is true and not in need of doing battle with the MoCo.
What do you all think?

Go to the dealer, look on other 17s (denim and base/clear) and see if you can see the same lines. May even pay to check out a CVOs tank. If you can, leave it alone. If you can't I think I may take it up with the MoCo.

-Honestly, some may think you're splitting hairs but you just paid 25k for a bike. I get it.

I think you're the only one that's going to notice it. But I know how that is. I know where there's a set small scratches on my rear fender. I've tried to cover it up and even though it's not easy to see, I know it's there. I just ignore it.

You pay that much for a bike it should meet your expectations no matter how picky it may seem to others. I'll look at my Sand Camo Denim and my neighbor has the same color as you. I'll check his out too.

Hate this response. Isn't this ENTIRE FORUM about first world problems?? We spend more money on a motorcycle than some people make in a year. OF COURSE we have first world problems!

I have two Denim Black bikes, both have the same thing you are talking about on the tanks. I don't even notice it anymore, I'm surprised you were even able to get it to show up on the pictures.

I looked at my bike. I have factory pinstripes right there.

There's an idea for the OP. Seems like these lines seem to be a stamping issue and they are visible on all bikes. If they bother you that much, have someone do a matching pinstripe job on the fenders, tank, and fairing.

Draws attention away from the lines, and personalizes your bike a little bit.
