So I changed my bars up and stuff, and that was good. However I still put the bike up for sale recently. No hurry tho, it'll go when time. But....I come back here to this thread and get pumped again. I'm thinking of making mine into an adventure touring style with hard case bags, straight off rear fender rack, raised front fender with a duck beak MX style look, a taller fairing, and then add side protection crash bars. This will require me to fab most of it.
I was inspired by the recent pics of the Big Al's hard bags....
Making a little bit more progress. Finally got the Rifle fairing mounted up along with the destroyer handguards and sissy bar. On a whim my friend and I have decided to ride up to the River Run tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to feeling the difference on the highway.
Lane splitter came in the other day. Highly suggest anyone looking for a new lid to grab this thing. Comfy as hell, not too loud and definitely breathable. Rode around today in muggy 80 degree weather for an hour and I wasn't dying of heat.
I have been looking at this helmet. I like them. Removable liner. Half the cost of a Simpson and has a chin bar for when it's colder
How is the seal on the lens. Does a lot of air come through like a Simpson?
You definitely should grab it man, the chin bar deflects a lot of air. As far as the seal on the lens goes I didnt get any air coming through for the short amount of time I had it down. I'll go out for a run today with it down longer and get back to you.

Nice riding at Angel's crest yesterday. pretty happy with my setup. Finally broke in rear pirelli night dragon, dunlop elite 2 was on a bike for a bit already. much better then shitty Shinkos. LoveJugs keep my hot bike in acceptable range knocking off 30-40F
Had a quick turn and burn up to the Laughlin River Run this weekend. 500 miles, lots of wind, sun, beer and good times! I'm very happy with the Rifle fairing and satisfied with the Lucky Dave's seat. It doest keep me locked in as much as my Mustang, but it's very comfortable and looks great.
