Air ride suspension

Looking for some feedback! For those that have it do think it's a good addition to the bike and is it a value to you for your style of riding?

Its a necessity for how I roll. Slammed for everyday cruising and jacked up for the two-up, grossly over packed ride in the mountains.

IF I could afford it, I'd add them to my bike. I talked to a couple of guys at the shop a few weeks ago and they swore by them.

I had Shotgun Shocks on my 2012 Street Glide. The product itself, along with the customer service from JD and his team, is second to none - absolutely outstanding. That said, I'm not a fan of the air ride. It's hard to describe, but it's more rigid feeling and no matter how I adjusted and dampened it, it just was not as enjoyable a ride TO ME as the stock shocks were. It might be that I'm not a heavy guy - weigh about 170.

My advice would be to take a ride on a bike that has the air suspension and see for yourself. If you do decide to go for it, take a good look at Shotgun Shocks - quality product and people.
