Default Brake light switch for rear

Cross referenced the brake switch for my 07 FLHTCU and the switch is bigger than the tiny oem one. Does it matter that it is bigger or do I need to just let dealer do it. Just don't see paying $75 + parts to the dealership.

If it fits and you can turn a wrench it's a no brainer..........

I just replaced this on my Softail. Was like $17.00 at the dealer, took all of 5 minutes to change. I use a needle and fill the switch with brake fluid, if your quick, you won't even have to bleed the bakes.

Replaced switch today. A few drops came out. Did not need to bleed brakes.
