Default I don't like the black FXDF wheels
Does anyone share my dislike for these wheels, and has anyone out there stripped and polished a set yet?

I would be interested to hear of results. I am thinking of purchasing a late model FXDF, I really like the bike, but the wheels are putting off.

Any pics would be a bonus.

Why not ask the Moco to put the 2013 wheels on, if you are buying it new, I bet they got some floating around.

x2 on this. They might be willing to swap them out. you could also but a set and sell the original ones on the forum.

If I hadn't already gotten my wheels powdercoated I would have gladly traded you for the newer style. I'm sure you could easily trade someone here for a set.
Would save both parties a good amount of time and money.

I like the black wheels but I loathe the lettering. The raw ones don't weather well so I'd be going for a powder coat in a colour that suits your tastes.
